Terms of work
What a visit costs
No trip charge stacked on a diagnostic fee, no hourly rate that starts in the driveway. One number to get a technician in front of the appliance, and it comes back to you if we do the work.
- $129 diagnostic
- $129 flat diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you go ahead with it.
- Written estimate
- You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed.
- 90 days labour warranty
- If the same fault comes back inside 90 days, the return visit is ours.
- 365 days parts warranty
- Genuine OEM parts only. That is why the parts side runs a full year rather than the ninety days an aftermarket part would get. What the warranty covers, in detail.
- Hours
- Mon–Fri 8am–6pm · Sat 9am–4pm · Closed Sunday. We do not run an after-hours or emergency line.
- Credentials
- EPA Section 608 certification covers the refrigerant handling required on sealed systems — a federal credential held by the technician, not a manufacturer programme. Licensed and insured in the State of Florida.
Have the model and serial off the data plate when you call and we can often tell you on the phone whether the part is one we stock. +1 (904) 867-2707
Asked often
- What does the first visit cost?
- A flat $129 diagnostic. That covers the trip, the testing and a written explanation of what is wrong. If you go ahead with the repair, the $129 comes off the total. You get the written estimate before any part is ordered and before any labour is billed, so nothing is a surprise.
- Are you sent by the manufacturer?
- No. Kindling Range Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Wolf or its parent company. We name the brand because it is the only brand we work on, and because you need to know your appliance is the kind we carry parts and test equipment for.
- Do you work on other brands?
- No. One manufacturer, one set of service manuals, one parts shelf. A technician who works on everything owns a little knowledge about a lot of machines. We would rather know one line of cooking appliances properly, including the older units that have been in a kitchen for fifteen years.
- What is covered after the repair?
- 90 days on the labour and 365 days on the parts. We fit genuine OEM parts, which is why the parts warranty runs a full year. If the same fault comes back inside those windows, the return visit is ours.
- When can you come out?
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday 9am to 4pm. We are closed Sunday and we do not run an after-hours or emergency line. Booking a real window and turning up inside it beats promising a midnight call-out we would not want to make.
- What certifications do your technicians hold?
- EPA Section 608 certification, which is the federal credential required to handle refrigerant on sealed systems. It is held by the technician, not granted by any appliance manufacturer. We are also licensed and insured in the State of Florida.
- What should I do before the technician arrives?
- Clear the front of the appliance and make sure we can get to the shut-off — the gas valve behind or below the range, the breaker for the oven circuit. If the unit is built in, note whether it has ever been pulled out before. And write down when the fault started and what happened first: a storm, an outage, a self-clean cycle. That sequence is often half the diagnosis.
